The Indianapolis Airport had a few healthy restaurants. This one in particular was pretty awesome they had, fresh fruit, bars, sport drinks, and baked chips. I wanted an apple for the plane ride but when I discovered it was $1.89 I decided to skip it.
Good thing for me Southwest Airlines offered us a plethora of healthy snacks.
The selection was impressive, lorna doons, pretzels, baked pita chips and peanuts (gave to the hubs).
I had some dried fruit home and saved the granola bar.
Once we arrive in Phoenix the sun was beginning to set, it was a warm 70 degrees and traffic was in full throttle.
We had dinner at a place called Arribas known for its New Mexican cuisine.
New Mexican cuisine is H.O.T. hatch green chilis are brought in from Hatch, New Mexico and used in just about every dish.
The fish tacos were m-azing! Have you ever had a meal that was so good you wanted to finish it all but just couldn’t? That was tonight.
I also had some pinot grigio with dinner but skipped dessert.
Monique and I are going to take a day trip to Scottsdale on Friday to do some shopping while the boys play golf.
