birthday pancakes

Happy 10th birthday (little apron) L.A!

A whole decade wiser and a little bit sweeter.

This morning I woke up and made her some kodiac pancakes, one with chocolate chips and the other with coconut and walnuts.

Make a wish!

The two cakes on the left are hers and the two on the right are mine.

I added fresh raspberries to one, and sliced banana and flax-seed to the other.

Topped with:

  • banana
  • new years granola
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp kodiac mountain berry syrup

Strong java in a pottery cup, made by L.a

Busy day today

  • Balance checkbook done 1/5
  • workout: weights, 2 mile run done 1/5
  • lunch done 1/5
  • gift shopping done 1/5
  • cupcake baking?
  • dinner at Red Lobster (annual tradition)

The girl likes seafood, crab legs especially. She takes after her momma what can I say?

See ya later 🙂

  1. Happy Birthday. Pancakes sound like a perfect celebration food.

I love red lobster and their Cheddar Bay biscuits. Yum.

  2. Happy Birthday to the Little Apron! (Double digits) I hope you two had a special day. As the look of those yummy pancakes I would say you did.
