Two hour delay

I like being on schedule and having a routine, but when things happen that you can’t control (snow), you just have to roll with the punches. So instead of making it to a workout class this morning I’ll be doing hot yoga in my cozy home.

 It’s okay to rearrange your schedule for mother nature, but it doesn’t mean you have to give up your workouts. There are many things you can do inside to get your heart rate up that require little to no equipment. Running in place, jumping jacks, push ups or a good workout video is all you need. You can always invest in a jump rope, weights, and bands to have on handy for days like today. 


I’m glad I was able to slow down and have a nice relaxing breakfast with my family.

 Warm soymilk with a splash on cinnamon. Breadsmith multi-grain bread toasted and topped with almond butter, apple butter, banana slices and chia seeds. Off to do a Dave Farmer podcast.
