Vitamin D

Yoga was fab, warm, sweaty and mind cleansing. Since the weather was so nice, I decided to go for a run once I got home. The temp was somewhere in the 40’s the air was clean, and the sun(vitamin D) was shining.

 

When the weather gets cold and dreary I tend to get the winter blues, getting a little sunshine helps.

Pre-run snack was a cute little dried fig, it settled well and  provided just enough energy.

For lunch I made a simple broth with water, 1 carrot, 1 celery stick, a handful of kale, some herbs and chicken breast left-over from Wednesdays dinner.

On the side a piece of toasted Breadsmiths multi-grain bread topped with TJ’s pumpkin cream cheese.
