Not your average pb+j

Lunch today was a pb+j on some Breadsmith multi-grain bread. So chewy.

Half of a bartlett pear…my favorite variety, green beans, peas, andWisconsin jalapeno cheese. The cheese was a leftover gift from a recent wine and cheese party.

Nuttzo is a mixture of peanuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds. The president and founder of Nuttzo is a woman by the name of Danielle LiVolsi. She wanted to create a nutritious food for her two young children. Nuttzo is organic, full of Omega 3’s, crunchy, and all around just good. Local folks foods is a family owned and operated food retail establishment. They make all their products including, jams, sauces, and mushroom patties with locally grown produce. All the products are natural with no artificial ingredients. Local folks foods can be found at Indiana farmers markets, health food stores and online.

The next time you think of pb+j, make it fun, use local ingredients, and be creative.
